Transcom relaunches in Central Philippines
Transcom Philippines recently expanded our presence in Iloilo by relaunching our offices on another location –One Global Center (OGC) in Iloilo Business Park. With this move, the biggest Nordic presence in the Philippines is also expanding its local presence. The move to OGC will allow us to hire even more locals, and contribute to Iloilo's economy:
"We are opening our doors to welcome more Ilonggos into the Transcom family."Gracing the event were local dignitaries headed by Iloilo Provincial Administrator Dr. Raul N. Banias, Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog. Executives from our Senior Leadership team flew in to the city to join in the celebrations and welcome this expansion of the Transcom family. Following the opening we also organized an open-house activity where locals were invited to take advantage of the unique opportunity to join the Transcom corporate culture. The new offices were also blessed in a solemn ceremony attended by local dignitaries and Transcom executives. A mega concert dubbed We Are Transcom - #TheBig PartyAtOGC capped the festivities, featuring big names in music like Mojofly, Kjwan, 6Cyclemind, DJ Nina Saputil and DJ Callum David:
Established in 2004, we marked 10 years of Philippine presence only last year. We opened our Iloilo site in 2009. To date, the Iloilo site boasts of employing about 1,200 employees. Just like our other sites, this has its own childcare facility -- proof that Transcom values the family. The employees also enjoy a wide array of benefits that has encouraged company loyalty and employee retention over the years. In addition, we also have sites in the following cities: Mandaluyong, Pasig, and also in Bacolod.
